Obituary for Marjory Eloise Eaton (Combs)

Marjory Eloise Eaton (Combs)
Marjory Eloise Eaton, 87, went to be with her Heavenly Father on December 6, 2015 at Winchester Medical Center.
Marjory was born August 5, 1928 in Akron, OH. Her parents were the late Lee and Ethel Combs. She attended White Hall School and Handley High School. She retired from Crown Cork & Seal but was employed for many years previously at Clearbrook Woolen Mill, People’s Drug Store, and The Virginia Woolen Mill. She was a member of the Wesley Methodist Church in Winchester.
Marjory was known for generous heart. She always said she loved to help others and is loved by so many who were recipients of her giving and kind heart. She was the “rock” for her two children who worshipped the ground she walked on. She gave them the strength to be able to accomplish anything they set their minds to but showed the value of working hard to accomplish those goals. Marjory lived her life with high values and morals and passed those values on to her children.
She adored her constant companion and pet Yorkshire Terrier, Precious, and worried about and nurtured her just like her children. Marjory is survived by her son, William A. Eaton, of Falls Church, VA and her daughter, Christine D. Fellers, and son-in-law, Larry, of Stephens City, VA. She is also survived by her brothers, Vernon Combs of Winchester and Ralph Combs of Stephens City; her sisters, Lovene Newlin, Winnie Miller, Helen Bayliss, all of Winchester and Opal MacMillan of Stephens City. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Grace Hoover and Lorene Russell and three brothers, Delbert, Lester and Wallace Combs.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2015 with Reverend Doug Geeting officiating. Private family interment will be at Shenandoah Memorial Park.
Family will receive friends at Jones Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 9th from 7 – 9 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 627 Van Fossen Street, Winchester, Virginia 22601.
