Charles Alex  Lovett
Charles Alex Lovett of Harpers Ferry, WV claimed his promised reward on Wednesday, August 31, 2016. He peacefully passed away in his room at NMS Healthcare in Hagerstown, MD at 4:30 in the afternoon.
Charles was born on March 21, 1953 in Houston, TX. He attended college at Abilene Christian University and met his wife at the NIH hospital in Bethesda, MD as volunteers in the children’s oncology unit. He and his family moved to Harpers Ferry, WV in 2001. He was a proud father of two daughters and spent most of his time around the pool deck encouraging their high school swimming careers. He was an avid superhero/action movie lover, recreational pilot, and devoted son, father, and husband.
He is survived by his parents, Billy and Rebecca Lovett of Winchester, VA; wife, Patricia Lovett of Harpers Ferry; his daughters, Laura and husband, Travis Hughes of Harpers Ferry; Kaitlyn and husband, Aaron Singleton of Raleigh, NC; and his granddaughter, Alexis Hughes of Harpers Ferry.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at South Side Church of Christ, 3136 Papermill Rd. with close friend, Ben Montgomery, officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday morning beginning at 10 am.
