Obituary for Viola Elizabeth "Vi" McUlty (Sites)
Viola Sites McUlty, 82, of Winchester, died Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at her home.
Mrs. McUlty was born March 18, 1936 in Petersburg, WV; the daughter of the late Ray A. Sites and Grace Vance Sites. She had been a teacher with the Day Care Center at Greenbrier Baptist Church.
She married Keith C. McUlty on June 26, 1960 in Winchester. Mr. McUlty preceded her in death on June 22, 2013.
She is survived by her brother, Dorse S. Sites of White Post, VA; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous grand nieces and grand nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, John T. Sites and Norman E. Sites; and five sisters, Mary V. Thorne, Arvella M. Combs, Janet S. Carlyle, Rosa L. Russell, and Bonnie J. Martin.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 31, 2018 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
