Anna Shade  McIntire
Anna S. McIntire, 94, of Winchester, Virginia, died Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Greenfield Senior Living in Berryville, Virginia. Anna was born on July 5, 1922 in Oakland, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Ernest Shade and Lula Bohrer Shade.
On September 27, 1941, she married Paul Victor McIntire of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. She was a member of Braddock Street United Methodist Church.
Anna is survived by her son, Stephen Douglas McIntire of Winchester and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, “Vic,’’ who passed away on June 9th of this year. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Virgil Shade and J. Ray Shade, and her four sisters, Esther Kirby, Melvie Youngblood, Eva McIntire and Lola DeHaven.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, at Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Wm. Anthony Layman and Rev. Frank Sherman officiating. Burial will follow in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
