Juliet Aurbach Martin, 96, died peacefully on Thursday, November 29.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY, the youngest of five daughters. She lived in Miami, FL, Silver Spring, MD Winchester, VA and most recently Rockville, MD.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Bernard Martin, Esq. She is survived by her loving sons Wayne A. Martin, L.C.S.W., Neil F. Martin, M.D. and daughters-in- law, Barbara Martin and Lisa Warsinger Martin, M.D. . She was a devoted grand mother to Jason Martin, David Martin Warsinger, Ph.D., Joshua Eric Martin, M.D. and Rebecca Martin MPH, and to grand daughter-in-law, Jill Cohen Martin. She adored her great grand daughters Sydney and Olivia.

Juliet attended Hunter College. She was an Air Raid Warden and medical secretary in World War II, a secretary at Tefereth Israel Congregation, Miami, FL and book keeper at WDCA Channel 20 and WIOD-WA1A, Miami, FL. She was an avid baseball fan and award-winning knitter. She was a long time member of Beth Torah Congregation, North Miami Beach, Florida and Beth El Congregation, Winchester, VA. She was an active member of the Shenandoah Knitting Guild and the Winchester Chapter of NARFE.

A memorial service will take place Sunday, December 2, 11 a.m. at the Jones Funeral Home, 228 S. Pleasant Valley Road, Winchester, VA 22601 with interment to follow at The Shenandoah Memorial Park, 1270 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, VA 22602.

A meal of consolation will follow interment at 3pm at the home of Drs. Neil F. and Lisa Warsinger Martin. Shiva will be observed at the same address at 6:30pm on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Shiva on Wednesday and Thursday will be at the home of Wayne and Barbara Martin, Norfolk, VA starting at 5:30pm.
